Join Jenn Gerynowicz, Founder of Techie Nesters, for an uplifting and approachable session on how everyday technology can bring both comfort and joy into your life. From smart home tools that keep you safe to simple apps that save time, money, and stress, Jenn shows how technology — when paired with kindness and community — can help older adults stay independent, connected, and confident at home. The presentation includes free hands-on tech help with tablets and phones, so be sure to grab your handheld tech to bring with you to this workshop!
Facilitator Bio: Jenn is the Founder of Techie Nesters, a Virtual Retirement Community offering tech support and nesting support that helps older adults stay confidently in their own homes longer. Her “Comfort & Joy” presentation is focused on creating comfort around technology rooted in awareness and education for things like scams and fraud, and joy as it relates to new and emerging technology like AI. Techie Nesters aims to help older adults age in place well without high recurring costs, which has quickly expanded to over 25 Nests in various towns and cities across Ontario. She’s committed to making a difference and her heart is with people and helping them thrive.
