Pre-Consultation
A pre-consultation meeting with City Staff is recommended in accordance with By-law 24-095 prior to the submission of a development application for:
- Official Plan Amendment
- Zoning By-Law Amendment
- Site Plan
- Plan of Subdivision
- Plan of Condominium
Pre-consultation meetings provide an opportunity for City Staff to:
- Clarify the application process
- Identify key issues and provide preliminary comment
- Identify and confirm the necessary plans, supporting studies and any other information that would be required for a Complete Application when formal submission is made.
Applicants are required to pay a fee of $2,500 prior to the Pre-Consultation meeting. City Staff will reach out with payment details, once the Pre-Consultation application has been submitted. If an applicant does not opt in to the Pre-Consultation process prior to submitting their Planning Act application(s), the applicable fee will increase to include twice the Pre-Consultation fee ($5,000).
