Job Details

Dance Instructors will organize and lead classes in children’s recreational dance programs at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre, Kinsmen, Healthy Planet, Memorial Centre Arena, and/or Miskin Law Community Complex

Qualifications

We require individuals with experience teaching a variety of styles of dance within a studio and/or recreational setting in addition to experience with the facilitation of musicality, choreography and lesson plans. Must also have experience working with children and/or youth. Dance certifications/education would be considered an asset.

Successful candidates must have Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification (or be willing to obtain prior to employment). Completion of HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification would be considered an asset.

This position will work a variety of part-time hours (max. 24 hours/week) dependent on class schedules and staff availability.

Hourly Rate

$17.20
