Group Tours and Programs

The Peterborough Museum and Archives offers bookings for groups looking for guided tours.

Themes we discuss in tours of the permanent exhibition include:

• First Nations
• early Irish settlement
• economic and industrial growth
• tourism
• family life

We can supplement tours for a presentation of photographs from our archives. Tours of our featured exhibitions are also available.

Booking details

Here is some important information to keep in mind before booking your group tour.

Times

• Tours of the permanent exhibition are typically 45 to 60 minutes
• Additional time may be needed if you are touring other areas of the museum (such as the featured exhibition or behind-the-scenes of our Curatorial Centre)
• Tours can be booked in the morning or afternoon.

Group size

Due to the layout of our permanent exhibition, group sizes should not exceed 20 individuals. Larger bookings may be split into smaller groups.

Tour fees

• $7 per participant per program. 
• Minimum of $70 per group
• Evenings and weekends are minimum $140 per group

Cancellations

At least one day's advanced notice is required to avoid payment of full fees.
