Multipurpose Rooms and Halls

The banquet hall is often used for weddings, meetings and special events.

• Approximately 5,011 square feet
• Seats up to 340 when set up in banquet style 
• Includes access to an industrial kitchen and bar, refrigerators and freezers

• Round and rectangular tables available
• Table linens, chair covers, place settings, glassware and utensils are not included in the rental of this facility.
• Microphone, podium, small stage and projector screen available
• Food service currently not provided. Renters are welcome to bring in their own caterer.

Events with Alcohol:

• To serve alcohol at an event the renter must apply for and submit a Special Occasions Permit (SOP) a minimum of 30 days prior to the event. Visit the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario website for further information on how to obtain an SOP. It is also the renters responsibility to provide trained serving staff and purchase the alcohol.
• Deposit: A $500 damage deposit is required for all events that include alcohol.  Payment by credit is preferred, to easily refund after the event if no damage has been incurred.

2025 Healthy Planet Banquet Hall Rental Rates (HST included)

• Sunday to Thursday: 121.48 per hour
• Sunday to Thursday full day: $593.25
• Friday and Saturday full day: $960.50

Banquet Hall Kitchen Rental Fees (HST included)

• Half-day (up to 6 hours): $76.28
• Full day: $152.55

The banquet room is 34' wide by 59' long and has access to an industrial kitchen and bar, and has seating for up to 150 people depending on table and chair set up. Amenities include:

• Accessible space with elevator
• Large veranda available (dependent on other programming)
• Built-in dance floor
• Projector and screen with access to Wifi
• Large washrooms
• Round and rectangular tables available
• Table linens, chair covers, place settings, glassware and utensils are not included in the rental of this facility.
• Food service currently not provided. Renters are welcome to bring in their own caterer.

Events with alcohol:

2025 Banquet Room Rental Rates (HST included)

• Under 8 hours: $81.93 per hour
• Full day rate (over 8 hours): $508.50

Staffing: Additional mandatory staffing rates may apply to all rentals. Rates are dependent on the event type and rental time.

The Miskin Law Community Complex is a fully accessible facility with lots of parking. The multi-purpose rooms (MPR's) are located on the second level and are bright and spacious with large windows. 

• Two multi-purpose rooms are available that can be booked individually, or as one large space. Until further notice, these rooms can only be booked as one large space.
• Rectangular tables, chairs, projector screen and microphone are available.
• Each room holds up to 60 people, dependent on layout of tables/chairs.
• Access to kitchenette (sink, fridge and counterspace) in MPR A only.
• Public WiFi is not currently available.
• MPR A is 1,350 square feet, MPR B is 750 square feet and the two rooms together are 2,100 square feet.

Rental rates (HST included)

• One room, up to 8 hours: $45.20 per hour
• One room, over 8 hours (full day):  $355.95 per day
• Two rooms, up to 8 hours: $62.15 per hour
• Two rooms, over 8 hours (full day): $452.00

The multi-purpose rooms (MPRs) are bright and spacious with large windows. The Sport & Wellness Centre is a one-floor fully accessible facility, with free WiFi, lots of parking, tables and chairs available.

• Three multi-purpose rooms are available that can be booked individually, or as one large space.
• Each room holds up to 30 people, maximum capacity is dependent on layout of the room.
• The MPR rooms are bright and spacious with large windows, include options for a screen and projector, sinks and counterspace and WiFi available. 

MPR rental fees (includes HST)

There are three gymnasium spaces at the Centre. A small gym is available, perfect for fitness classes, birthday parties, pick-up basketball and more. We also have a large wooden floor gymnasium, used for Fleming varsity volleyball, and basketball, and house leagues including volleyball, basketball, cricket, pickleball and more.

• Book your next birthday party at the Centre. Gym packages available.
• Rent the gymnasiums. They can be used as one large space for special events, rented hourly for sports.

The gymnasiums are located at the west end of the Centre and offer their own change rooms, parking lot and entrance.

About the aquatic centre

Leisure Pool: The leisure pool is 20 m in length with three lanes, water slide, and a PoolPod accessible chair lift. The pool temperature is 81 to 83 F, and total capacity is up to 175 persons.

Therapy Pool: The therapy pool is a warm, shallow pool with a wheelchair ramp and swirl pool with therapeutic jets and seating. The pool temperature is 91 to 93 F, and total capacity is up to 48 persons.

Private Rentals: Private rentals may be Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. At least 10 days notice is required prior to booking. Complete a Sport Facility Request Form.

Aquatic Centre rental fees (includes HST)

• A large, open space with natural light and high ceilings.
• Includes access to WiFi.
• Maximum capacity is 100, depending on table and chair set up.
• 60 chairs, 15 rectangular tables available.
• Includes access to a refrigerator/freezer.
• Renters are welcome to bring in their own caterer.

Events with alcohol:

Helpful information:

• There is no kitchen or wet bar available at this location. 
• There is no projector or screen available at this location.
• The parking lot has a maximum capacity of 40 vehicles for the entire location. As this is a multi-purpose municipal lot, a specific number of parking spaces cannot be guaranteed. Please note that the parking lot is located on main land over a bridge from the location. Vehicles cannot drive over the bridge to access the building.

"Dedicated to the Men and Women of the Peterborough Area who served in the Naval Forces of Canada."

Bronze plaques with the names of the departed shipmates honour those who served in the Royal Canadian Navy, Merchant Marines and the Commonwealth Navy, circle the base of the Memorial Cairn. Canadian Naval records indicate that at least 1,100 men and women from the County and City of Peterborough joined the Royal Canadian Navy before peace was reached in 1945, the highest per capita enlistment in Canada.

Steps to include a loved one on the Navy Memorial Cairn:

• Candidate must be deceased and served in one of the following services:
  • Royal Canadian Navy
  • British Royal Navy
  • Canadian Merchant Marine 
  • British Merchant Marine
• Costs associated with the purchase and installation of the memorial plaque is the responsibility of the sponsor(s).
• Memorial plaques must be identical in size and configuration to the existing plaques.
