- Packages at the Wellness Centre include the birthday child and up to 12 friends age 2+ (adults and infants are not included in this count). Extra children may be added to the package prior to, or on the day of the party for an additional fee; this transaction can be completed through the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre's reception desk or Program Leaders may charge clients at a later time where applicable. Packages offered at Miskin Law have a capacity of 50 people for the skate parties.
- Party rooms include set up and take down of tables and chairs. Party renters bring their own food, drinks, plate ware, table coverings, and any party decorations they wish to use.
- Additional activities, including but not limited to: pinatas, sparklers, confetti, bouncy castles, and live animals are not permitted at the Centre or the Community Complex.
- Adult Party Supervisors are required to always be with the party participants and are responsible for their direct supervision at all times.
- Gymnasium: all party participants are required to wear indoor running shoes.
- Aquatic Centre: all swimmers are required to wear party wrist bands and complete a swim test upon entry into the pool. Age-designated swim bands will also be provided where applicable.
- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied in the water by a guardian age 16+ for the entire duration of the swim. A maximum of 3 children under the age of 10 can be supervised by 1 adult age 16+.
- Ice Pad: all skaters are required to wear a CSA approved helmet and skates while on the ice surface. Boots will not be permitted. Approved skating assist items permitted.

The Recreation & Parks Services Division at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre offers a variety of party packages, available to fit all age groups and interest. With these great packages, you bring the food and decorations, we'll bring the fun! Packages are perfect for birthday parties, showers, and special celebrations. All packages include the birthday child and up to 12 friends age 2+. Adults and infants under the age of 24 months are not included in this count. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Classic package
Celebrate your big day in one of our party rooms. This package includes access to one party room for two hours.
Art Party package
Wellness Centre staff will lead the first hour with simple crafting activities planned according to the party theme and age of participants. For the second hour, enjoy free time in the party room. We also offer an Art Party Package option for preschool aged children.
Gym package
An hour in the Wellness Centre gymnasium is a perfect place to burn off that energy! This package includes one hour in the gym, with support and equipment provided by program staff. For the second hour, the party will move into one of our party rooms.
Swim party package
Bring your bathing suits and towels, and get ready to have some serious fun. This party includes one hour of pool time during our Fun Swim with access to the party room for two hours. Leave your items in the party room while you have some fun in our pool!
Gym and Swim packages
Get it all with this fun combination of gym and pool time. This package includes 1 hour of gym play, with equipment and support provided, 1 hour of pool time during a Fun Swim, and 1 hour of free time in the party room.
Skate package
Celebrate your birthday or special event on ice! This package is offered at the new Miskin Law Community Complex and includes 2 hours in a party room and 1 hour of private skating time on one of the ice pads.
