Visit the Peterborough Youth Space, a free, inclusive drop-in centre offered by the Recreation and Parks Services Division welcoming youth ages 12 to 18. It's a supervised recreational program, offering a variety of activities.
Drop by the McDonnel Street Community Centre at 577 McDonnel St. We're open Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Enter from the parking lot side of the building, turn left to use the elevator or right to take the stairs down to the lower level. The Green Room and kitchen are in the south east corner of this space.

Thursday, May 1: Water-themed activities with special prizes
Water-Themed Activities with special prizes for all participants who attend. Bring clothes you don't mind getting wet.
Join us for water-themed activities with special prizes for those who attend, as part of Peterborough's National Youth Week celebrations.
Monday, May 5: Gym and Swim Event at Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre
Free Gym & Swim event for youth aged 12 to 18 at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre. This will be between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. As such, The Youth Space will not operate during regular hours at their regular location on this date.
All youth aged 12-18 are welcome at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre for this exciting Gym and Swim event as part of the City's celebration of National Youth Week 2025.
Participants will begin gym activities in Gym A from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and then transition to the pool to join the Open Swim from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
All participants must join in the gym activities to be eligible for free entry to the Open Swim.
