How to Register

The City of Peterborough is proud to offer a variety of programs and services for people of all ages and abilities. Registering is fast and easy.

Registration takes place on the Registration website. To complete registration, clients need to set up an account that can be used for all future registrations. If you would like to register for more than one program, click "book another event" to add more programs to your online cart. Payment is required at the time of registration using Visa or Mastercard.

In person registration

Recreation programs can be registered in-person at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre.

Hours of Operation at the Sport & Wellness Centre

Effective January 4, 2025

Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Summer Hours (July 2 to September 1)

Monday through Sunday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Holiday Hours

Holiday hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:

May 19, 2025
July 1, 2025
August 4, 2025
September 1, 2025

Hours of service vary, please visit each location's website for hours of operation.

Account Credits

Your registration account may have a credit available due to a previous program adjustment or cancellation. This credit can be used when registering for programs online.

Please note, the available credit only appears on the final registration page during check out as one of the options for payment.

If you would like to apply your credit, choose this option. It will then tell you the remaining amount owing if the credit does not fully cover your registration fee.

Registration remains open throughout the session for Swim for Life programming. After the session starts, please register by calling or visiting the Centre.

Recreation Drop-in Activities

Looking for something fun to do? Drop-in to one of our scheduled activities, from basketball to aquafit, public swimming, skating and more! Paper copies of the schedules are available at the Sport & Wellness Centre.
