The Neighbourhood Rink Program has run in City parks since 1965, thanks to volunteers who prepare, flood and maintain ice for skating. Rinks are open from 7 a.m. to dusk (or 10 p.m. at locations with approved lighting) as weather and ice conditions permit.
Swimming lesson registration opens seasonally at the Wellness Centre. Our Aquatics Centre has two pools - a therapy pool and leisure pool. We offer drop-in Fun Swims for all ages and Wellness Swims for 12+.

Inner Tube Water Polo is a fun, fast-paced sport that combines the excitement of water polo with the added challenge of being seated in inflatable inner tubes. Two teams in the water with 6 players on each team. Teams will compete to score goals by passing and shooting a ball into the opposing team's net, all while floating on inner tubes in a pool. The tubes provide both mobility and a unique twist on traditional water polo, making for an enjoyable and fun game. This sport encourages teamwork, strategy, and quick reflexes, but also adds an element of balance as players must keep their tubes steady while moving and interacting with the ball. The program is designed for ages 8-14 years.
Program is running every Friday, starting April 25th until May 16th from 8:00-8:30pm.
Registration fee is $27.40 for four weeks.

White Dragon Martial Arts - Jiu Jitsu Self-defense
Ages 8-14 years
Welcome to the study of Jiu Jitsu. Anyone can start with any ability and gain agility, balance, co-ordination, flexibility, core strength and speed.
Join us for an in-depth look at civilian defense. Content will follow the Jiu Jitsu curriculum. Covering bullying- emotion and physical, break falling, controlling, locking, throwing, and striking all in a safe and controlled environment. Students will learn confidence in themselves, as well as respect for the Dojo and each other inside and outside of class time. Advancement in a traditional martial arts belt system can be achieved.
